Неунывающий Армен пытается закрепиться в США, постепенно постигая все прелести фиктивного брака. Для давно обосновавшейся в Штатах Юли неожиданной проблемой становится невозможность найти правильно приготовленную гефилте фиш. Не так давно переехавший в Америку Игорь всячески старается откреститься от своего русского прошлого, называя себя Джейсоном. Казалось бы, совершенно разные люди с совершенно непохожими проблемами, но способный решить любую проблему авантюрист Григорий доказывает, что это не так, все герои страдают от одного недуга – пытаются забыть о своих корнях, упуская нехитрую истину: можно уехать из России, но нельзя перестать быть русским.

Вторую пуническую войну невозможно понять, если разбирать её только через призму отношений Рима и Карфагена. Потому что был еще третий геополитический игрок — греки, чья позиция решающим образом повлияла на провал гениального стратегического плана сокрушения Рима, разработанного Ганнибалом. Карфаген и греки имели давние и напряженные отношения, пиком которых стала битва при Гимере в 480 г. до н.э., по преданию, случившаяся в один день с битвой при Саламине. Упс. Только сейчас к своему стыду узнал что Утика и Бизерта — разные города. В Бизерте стоял один из карфагенских Гиппонов… а я всю жизнь считал что там была Утика. Реально же она находилась южнее, ближе к Карфагену, и её древнюю гавань занесло песком — наносами р.Меджерды. Век живи — век учись :-)
