— Трудно поверить в то, что это произошло всего два дня назад. На этот раз я был в первом атакующем эшелоне. Подразделения бесшумно подтягивались к своим позициям, переговаривались шепотом. Скрипели колеса штурмовых орудий. За две ночи до этого мы произвели рекогносцировку местности; теперь поджидали пехоту. Пехотинцы подошли темными, призрачными колоннами и двигались вперед через поля капусты и зерновых злаков. Мы шли вместе с ними, чтобы действовать в качестве артиллерийского подразделения связи 2-го батальона. На картофельном поле поступила команда «Окопаться!». Батарея номер 10 должна была открыть огонь в 03.05.

3.05. Первый залп! В тот же момент все вокруг ожило. Огонь по всему фронту — пехотные орудия, минометы. Сторожевые вышки русских исчезли в огневых вспышках. Снаряды обрушились на батареи противника, местоположение которых было установлено задолго до атаки. Гуськом и развернутым строем пехота ринулась вперед. Болото, канавы; ботинки, полные воды и грязи. Над нашими головами от позиции к позиции велся заградительный [9] огонь. Огнеметы выдвинулись против опорных пунктов. Пулеметный огонь и пронзительный свист пуль. Мой молодой радист с сорока фунтами груза за спиной в первые полчаса чувствовал себя несколько ослабленным. Затем у казарм в Конопках нам было оказано первое серьезное сопротивление. Передовые цепи застряли. «Штурмовые орудия, вперед!»

-ANGEL FALLS
With its almost 3281 free-fall feet, 3189 to be exact, the Angel Falls is the highest waterfall in the world.

-TUGELA FALLS
They are the second largest waterfalls in the world, made up of 5 waterfalls that together reach the approximate height of 3117 feet. They are born in the mountains of the dragon, from the Tugela River.

-THREE SISTERS
With its imposing 2999 feet of fall that position them as the third largest waterfall in the world, we find The Three Sisters.

-OLOUPENA
Considered the 4th largest waterfall in the world with its 2953 feet in height, we present you Oloupena. Located northeast of the island of Molokai in Hawaii.

-YUMBILLA
With 4 waterfalls that reach a total of 2940 feet in height, in the fifth place is the Yumbilla waterfall. In the center of its first fall, a heart shaped figure can be distinguished.

-VINNUFOSSEN
In sixth place is the highest waterfall in Europe, the Vinnufossen. It has 4 falls totaling 2822 feet. It is located in the east of the village of Sunndalsora, in Norway.
