В марте в Петербурге было запущено движение трамваев от Хасанской улицы до метро Ладожская. Особенность маршрута в операторе – это частная фирма. Частно-государственные проекты в области трамваестроения вещи привычные во всём мире, но в России такое было лишь до революции. Громкое открытие омрачилось личным тест-драйвом в апреле: платформы были в ямах, остановки собраны частично и так далее. Было видно, что запускали второпях и не успели всё доделать.
В этот приезд я повторно отправился снимать трамвай и не пожалел – платформы доделали, контролёров пустили, привели в порядок территорию временного депо, остановки собрали и подключили. Теперь это действительно современный трамвай!

Главный герой, Шаман, бывший боец спецназа, приезжает в провинциальный городок в гости к боевому товарищу и сразу попадает в неприятности.
В городе царит порядок. Милиция давно победила преступность и получила полную власть. Настоящий хозяин города – майор милиции Гаврилов. Он собирает дань и держит жителей в страхе и подчинении.
Конфликт героя и городских властей начинаются с того, что Шаман слышит, как майор Гаврилов пытается изнасиловать девушку Настю, а та кричит и просит о помощи. Шаман вступается за девушку и тем самым объявляет себя вне закона.
Бойцы милиции пускаются за ним в погоню. Шаман скрывается в лесу. Он остается один против всех.
На стороне героя справедливость, боевые навыки и умение выживать при любых условиях. Он вооружен лишь армейским ножом, но может противостоять не только силам милиции, но и банде беглых уголовников. Герой не хочет никого убивать, а его противники стреляют на поражение.
И все же ему удается уцелеть, одолеть врагов, уничтожить бандитов и выйти победителем в этой войне.
